Previous Work
For the 2018-2019 school year, I served as teaching artist and resident music director for the youth theatre programs at The Palace Theatre in Manchester, NH.
I worked with kids ages 6-17 to put on 9 musicals over the course of 10 months.
I taught and re-arranged the music as necessary, in addition to altering accompaniment tracks and sound designing each production.
I also assistant taught improv and acting classes as needed.
One of my biggest passion-projects was creating The Palace's first ever youth acappella group in the winter of 2018.
My work in education is incredibly rewarding and valuable to me because...
-
it reminds me daily of the importance of play, imagination, energy, and passion
-
it forces me to find new ways to engage with & create theatre
-
it introduces me to so many amazing young people who are constantly challenging me to be a better person and artist
